Cryonics Institute Case Report for Patient Number 200

CI patient #200 was an 88 year old female from Virginia. The patient was not a CI member at the time of her death.

The patient died on December 19th, 2020.  The dry ice protocol and minimum two week storage in dry ice at a local funeral home in Virginia was followed.  Once all requirements were met, the patient was transported to CI on the 6th of January, 2021.

The patient was then transferred to the computer controlled cooling chamber to cool to liquid nitrogen temperature.  The human dry ice program was selected and the time needed to cool the patient to liquid nitrogen temperature was 25 hours.  The patient was then placed in a cryostat for long-term cryonic storage.
