EDITOR'S CORNER
We've always been impressed by Ben Bests commitment and dedication to cryonics. But after the recent Annual Meeting our opinion of him has increased enormously.
At the meeting he stated that while the Presidency (of CI) pays no salary, he plans on leaving his current employer in Toronto, moving to the Detroit area, finding a job there, as well as a place to live.
Given the responsibility that goes with the job, there are few people who would uproot their lives to this extent for an unsalaried position.
We've been after Pat Heller, CPS Treasurer, to run a profile of him for a while now. He's on the committee that's charged with coming up with the design for the Michigan State quarter to be released in early 04. With that task behind him, hopefully we'll have his profile soon!
In the LOOK BACK page we've run quite a few pages from CRYOMCS REPORTS, the publication of the (now defunct) Cryonics Society of New York, and failed to mention the contributor, Curbs Henderson. Thanks Curtis!
It's always nice to go to the Annual Meeting to renew old friendships, and make new ones. We even had the opportunity to talk to a fellow Floridian, Fred Ringle.
