LONG LIFE CAPTION CONTEST

Anyone who’s seen a New Yorker Magazine in the last few years is probably familiar with their popular CAPTION CONTEST. The rules are simple: Every week they publish a cartoon without a caption. The public is invited to submit entries. The winning entry  gets an autographed print of the cartoon by the artist.  In our case, the judges will be The long life’s staff,  and the artists for the two cartoons we have on hand are Bob Nelson and his friend, Jim Whiting.

The first cartoon is to the right. Caption entries must be received by December 20th. Submit entries to:jbull@cfl.rr.com or

The winning caption will be announced in the Jan-Feb issue
