Florida wackiness continues!
In the Jan-Feb issue, we reported on a woman who sold a well aged cheese sandwich for $28,000 because it contained the likeness of the Virgin Mary. Well, according to a local TV station, the same woman has put the frying pan that heated the sandwich up for auction on e-bay!! She claims it’s a "holy pan!" Perhaps there’s something in our water?Bissenger’s, a St. Louis chocolatier says its new Spa Chocolates contain ingredients that have been linked to "improved cardio vascular health, lower risk of certain types of cancer, a reduction in body fat, and a slowing of the aging process" What are these ingredients? His researchers have found for the first time that laughter causes endothelium, the inner lining of blood vessels to dilate, increasing blood flow, which is good for overall cardiovascular health. Baked Nuts? Slide your laptop onto a table. The heat from laptop computers can affect male fertility, according to a new study of 29 young men in the journal Human Reproduction.
Researchers found that 1 hour with. a computer on a man's lap increased scrotal temperature by as much as 5°F. (A computer's internal temp can hit 158°.) Frequent temperature elevations over several years "may affect sperm production and sperm quality-and, eventually, fertility in the future," says study author Yefim Sheynkin, M.D., director of male infertility and microsurgery at Stony Brook University Hospital.
