MEET SARA OLSON
I was born in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota and have moved to Wichita, Kansas to live with my fiancee. I am currently completing my BA at Newman University in Wichita with a major in English and a minor in music.
My fiancee and I plan to move back to Minnesota and establish ourselves there once my education is complete. I love literature (I read avidly), music, ancient history (particularly ancient Sumer, Greece, and Egypt), and art. I also often have a bit of a guilty pleasure playing computer role-playing games.
I remember hearing about cryonics as a rather young child, but I first became seriously interested in cryonics through association with a few very dear friends who have chosen to be suspended. After careful consideration and many discussions with them, I decided to sign up for suspension. My fiancee is signed up for suspension as well.
We are both members of the Cryonics Institute. My parents and family have yet to learn of my decision, and because of this I will be giving my fiancee power of attorney to handle any issues that may arise, in case l am suspended before I am able to tell them of my decision. I am hoping my fiancde and I will be able to visit CI's facility sometime after we move back to Minnesota and I look forward to spending many more years as an active participant in the cryonics community before I come to the point that I need to become a semi-permanent resident of Michigan.
