Objective: To prepare the participants to reduce injury and facilitate transport
of cryonics patients in emergency and non-emergency situations
Topics: Ischemic injury and other forms of damage
Treatments prior to cardiac arrest
Medications of benefit after cardiac arrest
CardioPulmonary Support with limited resources
Cooling methods
Hands-on familiarization with stabilization equipment
Monitoring vital signs
Assisting funeral directors, physicians, nurses and hospital staff
Hospice care
Shipping issues
Avoiding infection
Class size limited to 15 participants. The class is now open to the
public, including Members of other cryonics organizations.
There is no charge for attending the training, there is only a
charge for those who say they will attend and do not do so.
A $100 deposit per person is required to request a position in the training. The deposit
will be refunded to those not accepted and to those who attend.

Detroit if you tell them that you are affiliated with
the Cryonics Institute and if you secure your room with
a credit card. If you book after May 1st, however, the
price will increase to $59.99 per night (plus tax).
