March 30, 1999: The Cryonics Institute, in collaboration with the American Cryonics Society, has suspended its 30th human whole-body patient. Because of the family's desire for privacy, we do not plan to publish additional information about this case.
We do want to remind members and prospective members of the importance of making sure that all of your arrangements are in place on a timely basis. If an emergency finds the patient and family with preparations incomplete, it may be difficult or impossible to effect a suspension under good conditions.
