In March the Cryonics Institute suspended its 24th human, whole-body patient. It was an unforeen situation, and the member was not in the Detroit area at time of death; but we had a cooperating mortician near the location. Supplies and instructions had previously been provided, and the mortician was able to respond quickly. Because of the family's desire for confidentiality, identifying details are not being released.
